WHAT HATH NETANYAHU WROUGHT? The Israel & UAE Agreememt

March 25, 2022 By J. Michael Springmann

This was originally published in The American Herald Tribune, now shut down by the US government.

Is God Really All Powerful? If So, Why Does He Rely On The U.S., Israel & The UAE To Do Satan’s Work? According to the Washington Post, Binyamin Netanyahu has produced a minor miracle. As the paper noted August 14, “…it unites Israel with a powerful Persian Gulf ally of Washington that shares the view of Iran as an enemy.”  The journal, notably anti-Trump, nevertheless, quoted him as saying “By uniting two of America’s closest and most capable partners in the region–something which [was] said could not be done–this deal is a significant step towards building a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous Middle East…”

But, buried farther on in the story, all was not sweetness and light. The Palestinian Authority (PA), nominally governing the Occupied West Bank, “condemned the accord as betrayal.” Furthermore, it termed the agreement as “aggression against the Palestinian people.” Speaking the naked truth, the PA said that neither the UAE nor any other party had a right to speak on behalf of Palestine. It then withdrew its ambassador to the UAE in protest.           (The Post did not mention Hamas’ sharply negative reaction until farther on, even though it governs all Gaza.)

The journal went on to quote UAE officials as saying, rather improbably, that they established relations with Israel to forestall Netanyahu’s plans to annex the West Bank [in reality, what was left of it] to give the Palestinians a homeland. (They had had a homeland; the Zionists took it away from them in 1948.)   Surprisingly, the paper noted that UAE Foreign Minister Anwar Gargash believed the two-state “solution” had been threatened and they had to act.

Notably, the paper quoted Netanyahu as saying “The deal was struck. Without Israel having to give up territory it has effectively controlled for more than 50 years of conflict with the Palestinians.” Turning to Jared Kushner, Trump’s Zionist son-in-law and leader of his Middle East peace effort, the Post wrote that “the larger aim of Kushner’s plan[s]was always for Israel to forge new economic partnerships with many of its neighbors, especially Sunni Arab states that share the U.S. and Israeli view of Iran as an enemy.” (Does this mean Saudi Arabia and the Gulf statelets, some of the most authoritarian, repressive, medieval monarchies in the world?)

In the article, Kushner opined on the Palestinian outrage (without any opposing comment or background on the matter) that “they (the Palestinians) have a fairly predictable response that we’ve seen time and time again to all types of things that help make their peoples’ lives better…”

The paper’s columnist David Ignatius, ever the supporter of the American intelligence services, concludes his August 14 column with “Trump’s surprise announcement…[is] welcome news for Israel, the Arabs, and the United States.”

Welcome News? Hussein Ibish, Ph.D., once the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee’s spokesman and now a flack for the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, D.C. subtitled one of his many articles for Bloomberg News that the agreement meant “ Joy in Cairo, relief in Amman, anger in Ankara and alarm in Tehran.“  In it, he writes:

Riyadh has also clearly been interested in strengthening relations with Israel as a counter to Iran, and will pay close attention to how the UAE fares in the coming months.

Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s point-man on the Middle East, has suggested that another Arab country will follow the UAE’s lead. There’s speculation that Bahrain and Oman will make announcements soon. Manama generally defers to Riyadh on defense and foreign policy issues, so any Bahraini normalization with Israel would serve as a trial balloon for Saudi Arabia as well. But such a Saudi move may only come after the end of the rule of King Salman, who seems committed to the API. [Arab Peace Initiative.]

Formal diplomatic ties with Israel would embellish Oman’s credentials as a regional mediator and a friend to all. Muscat maintains close relations with Iran, but also welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on an official visit in 2018. Oman has, in typically understated fashion, welcomed the announcement.

All three of these Gulf Arab countries have quietly been increasing relations with Israel anyway, so normalization is merely a matter of formalizing what already exists.

Turkey has trade relations with Israel and the UAE but is at cross purposes with them on most issues. Erdogan routinely lambasts Israel over Palestine, and will not take kindly to recent Israeli moves in the Eastern Mediterranean.

…[B]ehind Tehran’s bluster will be grave concern that two of its more active and potent adversaries in the region have come together under Trump’s offices. Increased military and intelligence cooperation between the U.S., Israel and the UAE would indeed be dangerous for the Islamic Republic.

More Riders On The Train To Nowhere.  Ibish asserts that Egypt likes the agreement because “it potentially strengthens the Egyptian-Emirati hand in Libya against Turkish-supported forces for control of the country.” (Cf. ahtribune.com/world/north-africa-south-west-asia/4349-turkey-changing-the-middle-east.html). Continuing, he claims that Morocco might be another country looking for an opening with Israel. Dr. Ibish goes on to say “The biggest winner outside of the three parties directly involved in the agreement is surely Jordan, because it allows at least the hope of a Palestinian state in the future. (Yes, he still believes in the long-dead “two-state solution”.

Let’s Throw Some Cold Water On The Celebratory Candles And Let The Ants Eat The Cake. The whole affair is not anything like Richard Nixon’s diplomatic recognition of China.  The Middle Kingdom occupied and still occupies a good portion of the earth’s surface and has a huge chunk of its population.           Israel is an illegitimate and artificial construct, built on theft of Palestinian land and existing only because of the United States. The American taxpayer, gives, without likely knowing it, $10 million a day to Apartheid Israel. Then, there are U.S. military sales. In fiscal year 2019, the U.S. provided $3.8 billion in foreign military aid to Israel. Israel also benefits from about $8 billion of loan guarantees. From illegal outposts to academic research, from legal aid for Jewish terrorists to yeshivas, the tens of millions of dollars that U.S. non-profits send each year to the colonies support all sorts of activities in Jewish enclaves across the West Bank. (U.S. donors to these charities can claim tax deductions.)

Then there are Israeli products like Sabra and Tribe hummus.   They occupy prominent positions on the shelves of American grocery stores. Sabra, half-owned by the Strauss Company, an Israeli firm, and Pepsi Cola, donates food packages to the Israeli army’s infamous Golani Brigade, noted for its war crimes against Palestinians. The company has more than 60% of the American market and sells more than $1 billion a year. (It’s repatriation of profits to Israel is unknown.) Tribe hummus is owned by an Israeli firm, Orem, a key supporter and partner of the Jewish National Fund (JNF). The Fund continues its work of appropriating land for Jews and evacuating Palestinians.  Tribe’s U.S. sales are much smaller than Sabra’s.

The Real Goal. Yes, the agreement might be good, in the short term, for the UAE economy and for Israel’s. It might even help the other riders on the train. However, the aim of the agreement, as has been clear from the Washington Post and Hussein Ibish, and others who parrot the party line, is the complete and utter destruction of Iran–its government, its foreign policy, and its people.

The idea is to split the Arab and Muslim worlds, to the advantage of Zionist Israel and the United States. Look at what has been done to date. The UAE, with its military aid to war-torn Libya and its invasion of Yemen, the poorest country in the Arab world, is not a peace-loving state. And it is hostile to Iran, as are the other Persian Gulf statelets, notably Bahrain, headquarters of the American 5th Fleet. Saudi Arabia, which believes itself to be the real leader of the region, the real leader of the Arab nations, and the real leader of Islam, has been holding not-so-secret talks with Israel and is considering joining the agreement. Other countries are as well.

The U.S. has nuclear weapons. Israel does.  Saudi Arabia is interested in them–and has the means to deliver them using its Chinese-made Silkworm Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles. The UAE has one nuclear reactor in operation and plans to build four more. How long would it take to produce enough fissionable material to make a bomb? And which country might be their target?

Iran has, in the past, made numerous statements that the countries of the region should cooperate in maintaining peace and order and security–not outsiders. Yet, what do we have? The United States, from halfway around the world, working with Israel, a land of European immigrants, against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the stability of the entire Middle East. The guide might be trade and diplomatic relations, but, in reality, what we have is a Trojan Horse, designed to unleash major trouble on the area.

And the Palestinians? As usual, they get absolutely nothing out of any agreement in which Israel, the United States, and any Arab country are involved. There is always the smear that they are ungrateful for any “help” given them. They should accept the “two-state solution”, settling on whatever bit of land outsiders might want to give them. They should give up on the right of return for the nearly 7 million exiled Palestinians. Since 1967, the UN has been trying to get Apartheid Israel out of lands it seized in the 6-Day War.  Since the 1978 Camp David Agreements, the U.S. has been “trying” to get the Israelis to withdraw from land it’s taken over the years. And since 1948, no one, absolutely no one, other than the people involved and Iran, has recognized the invasion and occupation of Palestine.

Arabs have told this writer that their people only cooperate if they see an advantage in doing so.  To date, what little collaboration there is has only worked to their detriment–if they could but see it. The Israeli Yinon Plan, to make the Apartheid Entity strong by dividing and weakening the Arab neighbors, seems to have been forgotten. This wretched agreement among Israel, the UAE, and the United States is simply a diplomatic and economic elaboration of that concept. And, so far, it seems to be working.

FAILED AMERICAN HEALTHCARE

March 3, 2022 By J. Michael Springmann

One Example

By J. Michael Springmann

WHAT?  The Hanger Clinic is a producer of orthotic and prosthetic devices (artificial supports or braces for the limbs).  It has 800 offices in 47 States and the District of Columbia.  On its website it brags:  We serve patients in ways that build lifelong trust.  Nope.  The Maryland Orthotics and Prosthetics Center with various locations around Baltimore Maryland) is another such firm.  Its website asserts: We believe in forming friendships with patients and creating customized devices with superior fit and comfort.  Huh uh.  Gouterman Orthopedic Appliances is a third.  Located in Rockville, Md., its website claims …[W]e have the experience and knowledge in providing the most optimal orthoses to our valued patients.  Patients receive personalized attention throughout their treatment and recovery.  La, nein, nyet, non.

WHO? ME?  Yep.  Along with my charming smile, once-auburn hair, and eye color, I inherited something called Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease (CMT).  While it has nothing to do with my choppers, being named for two Frenchmen and an Englishman who studied it in the 19th century, it is intimately connected to my physical well-being.  The malady causes the slow, progressive loss of muscle and muscle tone in the extremities.  Nerves activating the muscles lose their insulation, essentially shorting out and blocking commands to contract or loosen.  Imagine a switched-on, electric table lamp.  Now, take a knife and shave off the plastic or rubber on the wire to the mains socket.  The light goes dark.   That’s CMT in a nutshell—along with difficulty walking, balancing, and losing fine motor skills in the hands.  No picking up pennies from flat surfaces.  And finding major problems with U.S. government employment.

WHY?  For nearly 10 years, I have been going to MedStar Georgetown University’s (MGUH’s) Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Clinic for an on-going examination of my CMT.  And for nearly 10 years, I had been seen by competent, knowledgeable, compassionate medicos.

THE PROBLEM.  (1) In late summer 2019, MGUH’s physical therapy department referred me to the Hanger Clinic on 31st St. N.W. in Washington, D.C.  It supplies ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs), essentially half-boots that brace the lower legs and feet, compensating for the ravages of CMT.

Unfortunately for me, the Hanger Clinic couldn’t pad the footplates of the new orthoses—even though I showed them my old pair which, while comfortably cushioned, needed an upgrade due to loss of muscle.

Despite repeated visits, Hanger still couldn’t supply me with comfortable braces.  I returned their latest iteration on August 4, 2021 as being ill-fitting and dangerous to use.  And I got a receipt.

MEDICARE.  I then began contacting Medicare, which had paid astonishing sums for the unusable AFOs from Hanger.  Call after call got me nowhere.  Complaints by telephone and letter achieved nothing.  However, I was told by numerous staff members that orthotics suppliers are required to provide such durable medical equipment with a valid prescription, especially when given a receipt showing that the useless AFOs have been returned.  Additionally, in such cases, there was no time limit on getting new equipment.

After threatening a lawsuit for the value of Hanger’s worthless orthotics, the company sent me a letter stating that it had refunded the sums it had taken.  However, it didn’t know when Medicare had cashed its check.

Surprisingly, Medicare didn’t know either. On March 1, I spoke with Charlie Gonzalez there.  He told me he had no idea when or if Medicare had been reimbursed by Hanger.  He added that he might know in a month.

(2).  The Maryland Orthotics and Prosthetics Center, also recommended by MGUH, refused to make me a new pair of AFOs, insisting that Medicare only pays for new AFOs once every five years—and that I already had a pair from Hanger.

Wrong! Misinterpretation of Medicare rules.

(3).  Diane, at Gouterman Orthopedic Appliances (which MGUH suggested) insisted that Hanger is a reputable company and that her firm would not provide me with AFOs since I already had a pair.  On instruction from Mr. Gouterman, the owner, she directed me to call the American Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics to recommend a supplier of the medical equipment I needed.

Wrong! Misinterpretation of Medicare rules.

WORDS (AND TELEPHONE CALLS) FAIL ME.   I have complained to Medicare, to the Maryland Attorney General’s Office, and to the said American Board of Orthotics and Prosthetics.  With no result to date.

WHY?  Simple, dear Reader.  If I pay one of these orthotics makers for another pair of AFOs, enabling me to walk with less difficulty, they get $10,000 immediately.  If they bill Medicare, they would get $8,000 sometime during the next year.  Avarice, cupidity, and stupidity bring in the bucks.

SOLUTION.  Sue them all?  (I don’ have a money tree in my backyard or a printing press in my basement.)   Remove the politicians and bureaucraps masquerading as healthcare officials?  Replace them with competent administrators and knowledgeable medicos?  Establish a European-style healthcare system that provides preventive medicine and wellness programs for everyone, not just the few with enough money to pay for concierge care?

Not gonna happen.  Americans have been taught that they must pay for medical care and higher education themselves.  Anything else is socialism.

CIVILITY? NOT AT THE AMERICAN IMMIGRATION LAWYERS ASSOCIATION!

January 20, 2022 By J. Michael Springmann

Huh?  The Fantasy.  The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has a civility code.  AILA – AILA Civility Code).  Inter alia, it states:

  1. I will conduct myself in a professional and civil manner at all times when engaged in AILA-related activities and communications, including treating AILA members, staff, and the public with civility.
  2. I will not use language that is demeaning, abusive, or hostile…
  3. I will not knowingly misrepresent, mischaracterize, or misquote information in seeking to advance any point of view….

Intervention The AILA Membership Committee reserves the right to intervene in response to violations of The Rules both sua sponte and following a complaint. Complaints may be filed by any AILA member or staff member and will be handled with low-range or high-range interventions, depending on the location and nature of the violation…

The Reality.  1.  On 19 December 2021, I filed a civility complaint with AILA against Ava Benach, a local Washington, D.C. attorney.  Ava, for unknown reasons, took umbrage at my questioning the requirement that applicants for Legal Permanent Residence are now required to be “vaccinated” against Covid-19—while the staggering number of illegal aliens President Joe Biden has let loose in the U.S. are not.  (104,000 illegals—who were caught in 2021—were given notices to appear before an immigration field office.  Of that number, 48,000 have disappeared.  More than 54,000 others ignored the requirement to report to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  (Illegal aliens vanish after being released into US — RT World News).

Ava Benach–File Photo

Benach, in writing to the 800 member AILA Washington, D.C. Listserve about me, said on 12 October 2021:

I cannot believe that I am having this conversation on an AILA listserve.  I cannot understand how anyone practicing immigration law can call people “illegals” and make such an idiotic remark as if people at the border are not subject to grounds of inadmissibility.

I don’t know what your practice is like but I can tell that you barely tolerate a wide portion of immigrants and I hope that you retire or find a new line of work before too long.

Perhaps I am biased, but I certainly believe the foregoing remarks are:  unprofessional, uncivil, demeaning, abusive or hostile.  Just like the AILA Civility Code says.

Furthermore, in an effort to misrepresent, mischaracterize, and misquote information in seeking to advance any point of view, just like the Code says, Benach broadcast to the 800 members on the Washington, D.C. AILA Listseve:

I find that when I have tricky legal issues on immigration issues, I consult these books:

https://www.amazon.com/s?i=stripbooks&rh=p_27%3AJ.+Michael+Springmann&s=relevancerank&text=J.+Michael+Springmann&ref=dp_byline_sr_book_1

The quoted link connects to my two books on the American government’s creation of Islamic terrorism (Visas for aal Qaeda:  CIA Handouts That Rocked the World and the origin and channeling of the migrant wave that struck Europe in 2015, Goodbye, Europe?  Hello, Chaos?  Merkel’s Migrant Bomb).

  1. Simultaneously, I also complained about another AILA member: Margaret Stock (Lt. Col., USA, ret’d), an immigration attorney in Alaska.  She wrote to the 800 member AILA DC Listserve (which I, unfortunately, must quote nearly in full):

Margaret Stock–File Photo

I was curious about Mr. Springmann’s blog, so I read it.

In the blog, Mr. Springmann pitches books he wrote on immigration policy as his source for answering questions about US immigration law. That is a “turnoff” because the book titles indicate that they aren’t useful for a US immigration law practitioner.  He then complains in the blog that nobody has answered his questions on the AILA DC listserve.  After seeing this particular complaint, I looked at the two questions that he posted in the time that I’ve been a chapter member. They are not questions that I would have answered, and it’s not because I’m engaged in any conspiracy to ignore them.

Rather . . . The questions convey the impression that Mr. Springmann is unfamiliar with basic US immigration law, as well as the practicalities of practicing law generally. I felt that if I answered the questions, I was going to be taking on the task of being an ongoing mentor to an attorney who is unfamiliar with basic immigration law.  Answering the questions and the inevitable follow up would be time consuming.

Example #1: Mr. Springmann complains that he wasn’t allowed into a Federal building with an expired ID.  Well, the client’s appointment notice says an attorney can appear by telephone.  I don’t think AILA as an organization can assist a member who chooses to attend an appointment in person and who lets his ID expire and can’t get into a Federal building as a result.   What would one post to the listserve to help him here? Should we tell Mr. Springmann to read his clients’ I797s and follow the instructions? Or bring a different ID next time?

Example #2. Mr. Springmann complains that USCIS interviewed his client for an appointment without completing background check or biometrics first, per hearsay from the clients (he wasn’t allowed into the building because his ID had expired, so he doesn’t know what happened at the interview except based on what his clients told him).  Well, if Mr. Springmann filed the case, he should know whether his client had biometrics done. Mr. Springmann would have been copied with the biometrics notice.  Mr. Springmann asks “how to get USCIS moving.” The question is so vague that I wouldn’t have answered it. “Get moving on what”?

Example #3: Mr. Springmann posted a detailed and complicated fact situation that indicated multiple problematical but basic immigration law problems with a case, and then asked “would appreciate advice, counsel, and USCIS contacts.”  But the detailed case summary indicated that Mr. Springmann is unfamiliar with immigration law and how it works (among other things, he expressed concern that his clients wanted him to contact USCIS about a “via extension” [visa extension?] when he had told the clients to “contact airline” . . .). The client’s I797s contain info on how to contact USCIS. All one has to do is read them.  I would not know how to help an attorney who thinks contacting an airline, rather than USCIS, will get a visa extended.

Respectfully . . . Most AILA members aren’t going to answer questions that show the questioner isn’t at all familiar with the basics of immigration law.   There’s no conspiracy there, and it’s not “bullying,” it’s just that we are all quite busy taking care of our own clients and have limited time to mentor other attorneys on the basics of immigration law…

Unprofessional, uncivil, demeaning, abusive or hostile?  An effort to misrepresent, mischaracterize, and misquote information in seeking to advance any point of view?

I sure think so, but then, maybe I’m biased.  Being an attorney, author, political commentator, and former diplomat obviously has imbued me with a different outlook than most.  But then, being from Alaska, perhaps Miss Stock didn’t know that, because of the virus, Washington, D.C. took an entire year to renew my driver’s license and couldn’t understand that the same expired ID had gotten me into the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Merrifield, Virginia office for an adjustment of status interview.  Regarding her Example 2, she apparently did not realize I “attended” the hearing in Norfolk, Va. by cell phone from the parking lot.

And rebutting every incorrect point Lt. Col. Stock made would cause the Reader to stop reading out of sheer boredom.

The Unsurprising Result.  Ava Benach’s website trumpets close connections with AILA’s leadership and the things her firm has done for the organization.  (Ava Benach – Benach Collopy, llp).  I do not know the connection between Benach and Stock, living as they do at opposite ends of the country, but Stock seems to parrot and build on Benach’s idiocy.  However, the retired military policeman wouldn’t write such things if they weren’t close.  More interestingly, the Internet describes Lt. Col. Stock as a politician involved with national security issues, having been a professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.  (Stock also ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate Margaret Stock for U.S. Senate – Are You In? (margaretforalaska.com)

AILA’s resolution of my grievance is as follows, regrettably in its full verbosity.  Please note that the organization suggests I work on MY civility.  Also see that AILA wants me to keep the matter “confidential”, as most questionable organizations do when they’re involved in bias and prejudice.

Mr. Springmann,

On behalf of the AILA National Membership Committee, I am following up on your Civility Code complaint against Margaret Stock and Ava Benach regarding messages sent to the AILA DC Chapter listserv between October 12 and December 2, 2021.

The Membership Committee determined that Ms. Stock and Ms. Benach did not violate the Civility Code.

Further, after reviewing the full history and record, we encourage you to review AILA’s mission: to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members. In addition, the Civility Code emphasizes the importance of promoting and fostering a professional and civil environment. Your use of the word “illegals” does not advance the mission of AILA, nor does it promote and foster a professional and civil environment. There are a number of resources available that explain further why that term is considered to be uncivil as well as suitable replacements. One such example can be found via the link below.

https://www.raceforward.org/sites/default/files/DTIW_Stylebook.pdf  [Remarkable “woke” nonsense]

Going forward, please conduct yourself in a professional and civil manner at all times when engaged in AILA-related activities and communications, and refrain from disseminating communications that contain unprofessional language.

If you are not satisfied with the answers you receive from volunteer members of your chapter listserv, AILA maintains a mentor program. You can find more information about this program at https://www.aila.org/mentor-directory.

The Membership Committee requests that you do not disseminate the result of your complaint as all remedies are considered confidential under the Civility Code.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Russell Abrutyn
Chair, AILA National Membership Committee

Speculation for Hostility Against Me.  While I have remarked on the mysterious reasons for Ava Benach’s invidious comments, it’s worth taking a look at Margaret Stock’s wild, libelous remarks.  My books, Visas for Al Qaeda and Goodbye, Europe, castigate, in some detail, Lt. Col. Stock’s personal beliefs and associations.  Notably, in them, I hammer the corrupt, incompetent, illegitimate, and racist U.S. government, including its Army and Congress, for which Stock, mandatorily-retired soldier, was a failed candidate.  Moreover, as a political commentator, I have spoken out against U.S. national security policy, dear to Stock’s heart, on several Russian television stations, such as BaltNews, NTV, Russia One; as well as Al-Araby (Qatar); Al-Mayadeen TV (Beirut); and PressTV (Tehran).

Ultimately, I will not renew my membership in the highly-politicized immigration lawyers’ association.  Not because, as Groucho Marx said: I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member. , but because, as he commented, Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies.

Who Is America’s Greatest Enemy, Israel Or Iran?

January 5, 2022 By J. Michael Springmann

Who Is America’s Greatest Enemy, Israel Or Iran?

By Gholemreza Montazami, Retired Iranian Diplomat

 December 25, 2021

Nearly three
years ago John Mearsheimer had said in one of his articles the following:

“…Iran is not a direct threat to the United States. It is not even an indirect threat to the United

States. First, Iran does not have nuclear weapons and it has signed an agreement with the

world’s major pow
ers that makes it impossible for Tehran to develop nuclear weapons in the
foreseeable future. Second, Iran does not have missiles that can strike the U.S. homeland.

Third, Iran has weak conventional forces, which cannot be used against the United States or

any country in the Middle East that is under the American security umbrella. Fourth, Iran is

not a serious threat to attack another country in its region. It has not launched a war against

another country even once in modern times, and there is no evidenc
e that it is now preparing
to take the offensive against any of its neighbors. Fifth, Iran is not the source of America’s

terrorism problem. To the extent that any one country deserves that title, it is Saudi Arabia,

not Iran…”
1

It should be obvious to th
e American people who America’s real enemy is, especially given
Mearsheimer’s past work on
, “The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy”.2 The state of Israel
has proven itself time and time again that Israel’s political lobby has
used the US government
and
military to further Israel’s interests in the Middle East.

We at the New Horizon organization have been holding conferences for over 10 years where

various personalities, such as journalists, political activists, American anti
–Zionists, American
anti
–Zionist Jews and others come and meet and make contributions and presentations to
expose Zionist power in the US and the Western world and to also develop strategies on

reducing or breaking this power.

We have never made any threats against the US government or America
’s national or
security interests in any of our c
onferences. We have been rewarded for all of our hard work
by being sanctioned by the very government
(US government) which has repeatedly been

used and exploited by the state of Israel
. To make matters worse the US government placed
the worst possible san
ctions on our organization’s three key people (Nader Talebzadeh,
Zeina Mehanna, Hamed Ghashghavi) and myself. We were
designated as “Global Terrorists”
which i
s a special categorization of terrorists which was created after 9/11.3 Also, conference
participants from other countries have similarly been persecuted by the US government by

being put on ‘no
–fly’ lists.

We don’t blame the American people for the sanctions against our organization or the

sanctions against Iran. We know that the American ma
sses and patriots among them are
victims of Zionist power inside their government.
A recent survey showed that 54% of
Americans see their fellow Americans as the main threat to them. Of those, 48% who fear

other countries, 52% fear China, Russia 12%, Afgha
nistan 5%, and Iran 4%.4

We fight against Zionism and Israel, which dominate the US government’s decision–making
centers. These nefarious forces are a serious threat to American national and security
interests, and to the American people. My country and our organization are fighting for the
American people against the most dangerous threat and enemy to the American and Iranian
peoples.

One of the main reasons that Israel has been so determined to overthrow our government is
because we have consistently supported Palestinian resistance to Israeli oppression and
tyranny. No other country in the world except us, can provide arms and missiles to Hamas to
resist Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian land. No other country in the world could give
even a bullet to help support the Palestinians against their oppressors.

The US government because of Israel has imposed so many sanctions on us that we’ve
become the most sanctioned country in human history. Instead of sanctioning us the US
government should be giving us praise and give us the financial aid which Israel has been
receiving since 1948. The main reason we should receive this praise and aid is because Iran
has consistently used its money and resources against the greatest common enemy of our
two countries. Iran has done far more for the American people by resisting Israel and Zionism
than all of America’s war heroes combined.

Iran has served the American national interests and people more than the American military,
security, intelligence and political systems. This is well known and understood by officials
inside the security, intelligence, military and political establishments and the real patriots who
are very intelligent and work within the US government. This is also known by elitist people
within America’s aristocracy. We understand this situation very well and we do not wish to put
these people in a difficult position. Because they know they will pay a very high price if they
resist the will of the Zionists and their control over the various levels of government inside the
US.

These enlightened people must do everything they can to raise awareness of Zionist power
inside America. God Willing this greater awareness will hopefully lead to the creation of
effective political opposition to resist Zionist power inside the US government.

Fortunately, we have been seeing some consistent organized opposition forming in the
growing Palestinian solidarity movement, including the Boycott, Divestment Sanctions (BDS)
campaign. This opposition has continued despite some Zionist successes in making criticism
of Israel illegal in some countries. It is the US Constitution that protects this right to protest,
so the Zionists are unable to stop the reaction by American citizens to form grassroots efforts
to struggle for justice.

A growing number of people around the world are learning that Zionists are the most
nefarious people and that they have repeatedly hurt the American and Iranian peoples. Some
of the crimes committed against America by Israel and its Zionist supporters include, the
Black Slave Trade,5 the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank and its ongoing campaign of
debasing the US currency,6 the John F. Kennedy assassination,7 the sexual revolution,8 the
pornography industry,9 the attack on the USS Liberty,10 Israeli espionage against the US, the
organ trafficking industry, various economic crises over the last 100 years to name a few 11
and the 9/11 operation. 12

The video clip (
https://archive.org/details/israel–did–9–11–dr.–alan–sabrosky–u.–s–army–war–
college/Israel+did+9_11+–+Dr.+Alan+Sabrosky+–+U.S+Army+War+College.mp4
) in the
footnotes section of this article provides some very logical commentary from Alan Sabrosky,
a retired Marine officer who was a director of studies at the US Army War college. He makes
a compelling argument that 9/11 was a Mossad operation.12

It’s very important that the American people realize and understand that it is they who have
used their blood and treasure in the service of Israel to invade and occupy Afghanistan and
Iraq13 in the weeks and months following 9/11. Thousands of American military personnel
were killed and tens of thousands were injured, but not one Israeli soldier was killed or injured
in these wars to protect and expand Israeli power in the Middle East region.

It should be obvious to everyone now that Israel has been the greatest beneficiary of
“America’s War on Terror”. On top of this, it’s becoming clear to a growing number of people
in America and throughout the world that Israel was behind the 9/11 Operation. Had 9/11
never happened then Israel would have never been able to use the American military to
attack and occupy Afghanistan and Iraq. It should also be discussed how Israel has been
using its power over the US government to try and push it to wage a direct war against Syria.

Looking at today’s regional situation, we can see how Israel has been working very hard to
use the US military to go to war against Iran by creating dangerous situations. The single
biggest escalation of tensions came when the US military assassinated General Soleimani
and within a year of that assassination the Mossad was involved in assassinating Dr.
Fakhrizadeh. Some Israeli government officials later boasted that Israel was involved in
influencing the US government to use the US military to assassinate General Soleimani.

Iran showed great restraint in its response by only firing missiles at one US military base

in Al–Assad, Iraq. Iran in a matter of minutes could have set fire to all the American military

bases in the region and could have killed thousands of American troops. But Iran did not want
American soldiers and officers to be sacrificed for Israel’s interests. The question we need to
ask ourselves is, why do patriotic Americans; people in the intelligence, security, and military
communities; and political leaders allow American military personnel to be killed or humiliated
to serve Israel’s interests?

This year especially, we’ve seen some serious provocations by the US navy to set off a
conflict with the Iranian navy in the Persian Gulf. To make matters worse, Mossad’s chief has
been very busy the last several months in trying to pressure or influence US government
officials to try and find ways to set off a war in the region between America and Iran. A war
which would result in a long–term stoppage of oil exports from the Middle East region which
could lead to a global economic catastrophe.

We can also see that by looking back over the last 20 years that a number of Israeli prime
ministers took numerous trips to Washington to meet with presidents for the specific purpose
of trying to push the US to go to war against Iran.14 Outside of these efforts, Israel has also
worked very hard to prevent any good relations between the US and Iran. Their numerous
attempts at sabotaging or derailing the creation and implementation of the Joint
Comprehensive Plan of Action (Iran Nuclear Deal) are well known.

Originally Israel was dead set against the international nuclear agreement when the Obama
administration agreed to it and signed off on it. After the deal began to be implemented, Israel
made numerous attempts to derail the agreement and was eventually successful a little over
a year after Trump took office. Because of Israeli pressure, Trump eventually pulled the US
out of the nuclear deal in May of 2018.

Recently Iran’s new presidential administration made a number of efforts to try and salvage
the nuclear negotiations. While Iran was making these efforts, Israel began to increase its
pressure against Germany, France and the UK to take a hard position against Iran in the
nuclear discussions. Israel’s goal with this effort is to make sure that the entire agreement
collapses and this will eventually make it easier for Israel to set off a war between the US and
Iran, and it will also become easier for Israel to use the European powers to support a
potential American war against Iran. If such a war does happen then the European powers
will wind up losing more than what America would lose in such a war. Also it’s very important
that the Europeans understand that the destruction of the nuclear agreement will not benefit
Europe, the only beneficiary of the agreement’s destruction will be Israel.

Israel’s primary goal has been to try and start a war between the US and Iran, and because
of this Israel would never let the nuclear agreement move forward because if it was
successful then we could actually begin to see good relations between the US, the European
powers and Iran. Israel could never accept such a positive and peaceful arrangement. At the
same time, Israeli leaders know that they can’t attack Iran without US support. This is why
Israel and its Zionist supporters have been working so hard on the Biden administration and

the US Congress to prevent America from abiding to the terms of the original nuclear
agreement.

There can be no doubt that the Zionist lobby will be working very hard throughout next year in
the run up to the Congressional mid–term elections in November 2022. Their goal of course
will be to use their money to support candidates and incumbents who will support Israel’s
goals in preventing the US government from following the terms of the nuclear agreement.

While we try to remain hopeful that somehow Israel’s power will be curtailed or God Willing
broken, we must be realistic about the situation and Israel’s never ending efforts to protect
and expand its power. Israel’s efforts could eventually lead to a full blown war with Israel
using America as a proxy to fight against Iran.

Iran would like to request from the American people that they do everything they can to stop

such a war against Iran from happening.
If such a war does happen then Iran requests from
the American people that at least h
alf of the troops used from the American side are taken
directly from units of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).

If Israel is so
determined to use the US military as a mercenary force to go to war against Iran
then it should directly invest
in such a war by using its military personnel in such an effort.
Our last request is that if a war does begin that the US military leaders have the Israeli

soldiers wear blue and white uniforms so that our forces can easily find and target them on

the battlefield.
We don’t want to put ourselves in a situation where we have to shoot any
American soldiers because too many American soldiers have already been
victims by being
killed
or injured since 9/11 for Israel’s benefit.15, 16, 17

Our very last request is
if Israel accepts such a military arrangement for a future war, then
please do what you can to convince your gover
nment to let such a war against Iran
commence
as soon as possible.

AMERICAN IMMIGRATION LAWYERS ASSOCIATION: A MODEL FOR HATE—A MODEL FOR NON-COOPERATION

December 12, 2021 By J. Michael Springmann

According to its website, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA):  is the national association of immigration lawyers established to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members.

Oh, My!  In October 2021, I commented on a question I saw on AILA’s ListServe for the Washington, D.C. area.  I said I was appalled that Applicants for Permanent Legal Residence had to be vaxxed while tens of thousands of illegal aliens were pouring across the borders, unvaxxed and likely bearing covid.

Here are some responses to my statement:

Ava Benach:  … I cannot understand how anyone practicing immigration law can call people “illegals” and make such an idiotic remark as if people at the border are not subject to grounds of inadmissibility.  I don’t know what your practice is like but I can tell that you barely tolerate a wide portion of immigrants and I hope that you retire or find a new line of work before too long.

Ana Zigel:  Really Mr. Springman – you dare make this comment.  I guess you get your “facts” from Fox News.  This statement is outrageous and not becoming of an immigration lawyer.  I agree with Ava – I think it’s time you find a new line of work.

To be sure, some sensible attorneys defended me and cited immigration law and U.S. Supreme Court decisions.  And they made eminent sense.

However, … Afterwards, I found when I asked for help with two questions posed to me by clients, I got no real responses from the ListServe, except for Ava Benach’s post:  I find that when I have tricky legal issues on immigration issues, I consult these books:

https://www.amazon.com/s?i=stripbooks&rh=p_27%3AJ.+Michael+Springmann&s=relevancerank&text=J.+Michael+Springmann&ref=dp_byline_sr_book_  (Link to my books on the sources of Islamic terrorism and the migrant wave rolling over Europe.)

A second post of the same questions got no results, not even from AILA’s management, to whom I had sent copies.  The foregoing emails I received were examples of harassment, bullying, and incivility–all forbidden by AILA’s ethics code.

Backlisted?  It is not unreasonable to assume that the various attacks on me may have been orchestrated by Ava Benach.  Given Benach’s position at AILA, it would not be unreasonable to imagine that Ava has, in some way, gotten the organization to ensure that no one will respond to any of my questions on behalf of my clients.  And my job as attorney is to promote and protect their interests.

Ava, shown above, displays claims on the firm’s website about receiving …the Edith B. Lowenstein Award for Excellence in Advancing the Practice of Immigration Law by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)… Ava currently serves on the Amicus Committee of the AILA helping to set nationwide litigation strategy for the organization…Ava served as Chair of the Litigation Committee and as Pro Bono Coordinator….

What’s Not Being Done.  AILA appears to be more concerned with virtue signaling and refusing to enforce its ethics code.  Moreover, the Association will not use its resources to sue the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for failing to do its job.

USCIS is delaying approval of simple applications.  I have people who have been waiting two years for Adjustment of Status to Legal Permanent Resident.  Without explanation.  This used to be accomplished within six months from date of application.  Others, asylum applicants with a credible objective and subjective fear of persecution, have been waiting for half a dozen years.

What’s AILA doing about this?  Not a thing to the best of my knowledge.  I even asked the ListServe about USCIS’ failure to do a background check on an Adjustment applicant—when that organization’s rentacop refused me admission with him to its Norfolk, Va. District Office. My Washington, D.C. driver’s license had expired—and could not possibly be renewed because of the virus.  I received no response from the ListServe.

My View.  AILA seems to be a very inbred, cliquish cult.  It is also like every large organization in today’s America–dysfunctional.  AILA ostensibly exists to make money from expensive membership dues and publications or other “advantages” of membership.  It seems to be filled with time-serving hacks who hate the people their jobs require them to serve.  This is often the result of overwork and underpay as well as boredom.  (Cf. Why Nothing Works; Marvin Harris).

The first step towards a logical solution to the issue is to clean house, adding to America’s unemployment level.  The second step is to provide real assistance and mentoring.  (I well remember the last time I belonged to AILA and asked questions.  The usual response was “Why are you requesting help?  You should know the answer.”)  The third step is for AILA to rigorously challenge USCIS for not fulfilling its mission—and not ask individual practitioners to sue for a court order commanding that the agency perform its duties—which costs the client a fortune in unreimbursable legal fees.

When I raised the foregoing problems with the Center for Immigration Studies, which bills itself as favoring low immigration while being pro-immigrant, the response was “Well, that’s AILA.”
